Includes full inspection with sound post, bridge and tuner adjustment and a new set of student strings. This assumes all parts, including bridge are present. This is a good choice for most new and used instruments and is all many instruments need to return them to good playing function.
Deluxe Maintenance: $45
The basic maintenance plus upgraded student perlon strings.
Custom Bridge: $20-40
Individually made, hand carved and fitted bridges.
Full Set of Fitted Pegs: $80+cost of selected pegs

I carry an assortment of good quality used fiberglass and wood student bows. Please call to check availability in size 1/8-4/4.
Crack Repair: $30 base +$5 per inch
Example: A violin with a 3" crack would bring your total to $45

Hardshell case: $50 (Special Order Item-Usually takes 1-2 weeks)
High quality hardshell case that can withstand travel and the abuse students throw at them. $30 deposit, remainder due at time of pickup.
Accessories:
I can order most accessories at or near wholesale cost. This includes shoulder rests, rosin, bows, books, strings and even instruments. Deposit required to insure pickup. Please call for quote.

I like to keep student violins playable and I know that for many people the cost of repair can be prohibitive, especially with many shops charging more than the violin cost to fix them. I hate to see student violins becoming disposable items and try to keep my repair prices at rates that will encourage people to have them fixed instead of turning them into unplayable wall decorations or throwing them away.
